Bangkok: The Prime Minister convened a video conference meeting with the governors of seven provinces to discuss the ongoing border situation and prioritize the safety and well-being of residents.
According to Thai News Agency, the meeting, held at noon in the Pmoc Room of Thai Khu Fa Building, saw Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul instruct the governors to ensure the safety of people by evacuating them to secure locations and providing comprehensive care in evacuation centers. The Prime Minister highlighted the necessity of disbursing funds to prevent shortages of essential supplies, including food and medicine.
The Prime Minister stressed the need for collaboration among all units to safeguard the rear areas, emphasizing cooperation with the Village Defense Volunteers to support the frontline efforts. He also directed that hospitals be prepared to treat those injured in the fighting, ensuring the availability of blood supplies and deploying mobile medical units to assist people in evacuation centers.
