Sanam luang: The Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, visited Sanam Luang to oversee the arrangements for the public to pay their respects to the Royal Urn of Her Majesty the Queen Mother. This marks the first day the Bureau of the Royal Household has allowed public access for this purpose.
According to Thai News Agency, upon arriving at the site, the Prime Minister engaged with officials and members of the public. He mentioned receiving reports of a significant number of visitors earlier in the day, prompting his visit to address minor logistical issues. Among the concerns was the slow movement of people from the waiting area to the screening point, which is currently being expedited to mitigate discomfort caused by the hot weather. The Prime Minister praised the officials for their commendable efforts in managing the situation effectively.
