Bangkok: The Prime Minister arrived at Government House today before delivering a keynote address at the ESCAP event and opening a seminar to deliver policy guidelines for the 2027 budget. He will then fly to Chiang Mai in the afternoon with a team of ministers to monitor efforts to address forest fires and PM2.5 pollution.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Government House this morning to begin his duties and paid respects to the Narasimha statue on the second-floor balcony of the Thai Khu Fah Building, a routine he regularly performs. The Prime Minister's schedule for today includes delivering a special address at approximately 9:00 AM at the 82nd Session of the Commission (CS82) of ESCAP at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) on Ratchadamnoen Nok Road, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok.
Then, at 10:00 AM, the Prime Minister will preside over the opening of a seminar on policy and guidelines for the preparation of the 2027 fiscal year budget at Muang Thong Thani. Meanwhile, this afternoon, Mr. Anutin will lead a team of relevant ministers, cluster ministers, ministers overseeing specific areas, and relevant agencies to Chiang Mai province to monitor and drive efforts to address the problems of forest fires, haze, and particulate matter (PM2.5) that continue to affect the northern region.
