PTT and AOT Collaborate to Promote Sustainable Aviation Fuel at Phuket Airport

Phuket: PTT and Airports of Thailand (AOT) have announced a strategic partnership aimed at fostering sustainable growth by promoting the use of sustainable aviation fuel and integrating advanced technologies at Phuket Airport.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Rattikul Piyawongwanich of PTT Public Company Limited and Mr. Sirot Duangrat of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited recently met at AOT headquarters to discuss the further development of their strategic cooperation. This meeting is part of their efforts under the state enterprise partnership program, which has already seen success by achieving a Core Business Enablers score of 2.5000 well ahead of the target year of 2026.

The two organizations are focusing on accelerating their action plan across four main areas. These include the promotion of clean energy via the use of sustainable aviation fuel at Phuket Airport, adhering to ICAO and ISCC standards, and the integration of Data Science and AI technology into an Energy Platform for more efficient airport energy management. Additionally, they plan to collaborate on enhancing safety through specialized fire fighting training courses and a contractor management platform. Finally, they aim to support local communities by creating sales channels for community products through the "Smiling Community" platform, thus reinforcing their joint commitment to sustainable development.
