PWS Junior High School Championship 2026 U14 Football Tournament Concludes in Surat Thani

Surat thani: Coach Heng and Coach Yong shared their experience with youth coaches in Southern Thailand at Surat Thani province. The PWS Junior High School Championship 2026 U14 football tournament, held from August 15-18, was organized as part of the academic week activities at Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani Campus. The event aimed to provide young footballers with opportunities to develop their skills, gain experience from real competition, and build networks between educational institutions and the youth football community.

According to Thai News Agency, the event also included a seminar on "Structuring Sustainable Youth Football," featuring "Coach Heng" Wittaya Lauhakul and "Coach Yong" Worawut Srimakha, who shared their knowledge and experiences to promote systematic and sustainable youth football development. The results of the competition are summarized as follows: Winner: Plukpanya Municipal School, Phuket Province; First runner-up: Somapapatthanakhon School, Bangkok; Second runner-up: Thakham Pittayakhom School, Chonburi Province; Third runner-up: Khamphee Wittaya School, Yala Province.

The award ceremony was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Suchada Tipmontri, Vice Rector of Surat Thani Campus. Ms. Duangporn Wongswasdi, Deputy Director of the Campus Office, also joined in the ceremony and presented awards to the winning teams. This event focuses on building knowledge, understanding, and systematic approaches to youth football development, alongside competition, in order to collectively create a strong foundation for Thai football in the future.
