Real-Time Tracking Revolutionizes Delivery with TMS Plus+ System

Bangkok: Amidst the current challenges from fundamental economic conditions, energy costs, and geopolitical risks, businesses need to adapt to control costs efficiently. Recently, GIS Co., Ltd., a member of the CDG Group, announced the upgrade of its NOSTRA LOGISTICS transportation management software to the "TMS Plus+" system to meet evolving market demands.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Thanaporn Thitisawas, President of GIS Co., Ltd., revealed that today's transportation systems no longer function solely in moving goods from one point to another. They have become a strategic tool impacting cost control and business competitiveness. This transformation to the TMS Plus+ system represents a transition from fleet management (controlling individual vehicle groups) to an integrated logistics and supply chain management platform, enabling businesses to gain a comprehensive overview and make more accurate decisions.

This aligns with a report from the World Economic Forum (WEF), which indicates that 74% of leading organizations worldwide have increased investment to enhance their ability to cope with business volatility. One of the key challenges is the lack of interconnected IT ecosystems within the supply chain, resulting in a lack of a clear picture of true costs.

The newly launched TMS Plus+ system is designed to address fragmented operational challenges by focusing on three key dimensions: cost optimization, real-time data connectivity, and flexibility and control. The system claims the ability to reduce overall transportation resource costs by up to 15%, calculated from the overall budget, not limited to just distance or fuel costs.

Real-time data connectivity allows linking from the beginning to the end of the process, enabling all parties in the network to see operations simultaneously and reduce errors between planned projects and actual implementation. Flexibility and control permit businesses to quickly adjust transportation plans in case of unforeseen events, control risks, and monitor on-site inventory for accurate delivery.

The system has been launched and is now available, offering a flexible pay-per-use contract model that allows businesses to choose packages and scale up or down according to their actual needs. This provides a cost-effective option for managing technology budgets, suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large corporations.
