Bangkok: The "Bangkok Exhibition of Construction Materials, Furniture and Hotel Supplies 2026" has officially commenced at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani. Former Deputy Prime Minister Pongthep Thepkanjana presided over the opening ceremony of the prestigious event.
According to Thai News Agency, the opening ceremony featured a report by Mr. Xiao Guo Gang, President of the Thai-China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Association. Esteemed guests, including Mr. Suvaroj Surakthavee, President of Fulcrum International Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and several representatives from international business networks, were also present. Mr. Pongthep Thepkanjana emphasized the exhibition's role in strengthening ties between Thai and Chinese businesses, highlighting its potential to link innovation, technology, and investment across various sectors, thereby expanding international business opportunities.
Mr. Suvaroj Surakthavee stated that the expo, themed "Opening the World of Technology and Innovation for the Future of Construction," aims to foster business opportunities, investment, and Smart Living technology. With participation from over 1,500 industrial factories from Thailand and China, the event represents a significant collaboration. It seeks to elevate product standards in smart home construction materials, modern furniture, and innovations for future living.
Former House Speaker Phokin Pholkul expressed confidence in the event's potential to elevate the Thai construction and furniture industries to an international level throughout Southeast Asia. He anticipates that the collaboration will drive sustainable growth and create new standards in the construction materials, furniture, and hotel equipment industries, meeting the demands of the digital age.
A seminar, held from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, provided entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their products, receiving a positive response from attendees. The "Bangkok Building Materials, Furniture and Hotel Supplies Expo 2026" is open to the public from June 3-5, 2026, at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
