These discussions are ongoing at the local level to address misunderstandings and concerns, fostering open communication and understanding of the situation. Sihasak emphasized the importance of sustainable ceasefire efforts, free from conflict and provocation, whether through territorial actions or statements. He underscored the importance of gradually building trust for restoring relations.
When questioned about potential incidents affecting the upcoming election on February 8th, Sihasak assured that preventative measures are in place to maintain a sustainable ceasefire. He emphasized the importance of moving forward in building trust with Cambodia.
Addressing incidents involving gunfire and explosions, Sihasak acknowledged their occurrence but noted that explanations were provided to clarify these events. He stated that discussions and clarifications are possible as long as incidents are not incitements or intentional trespasses.
