Bangkok: Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) has formed a committee to investigate serious disciplinary violations by one staff member following evidence of involvement in cheating on the local government civil service examination. According to Thai News Agency, SWU issued its third statement on July 17, 2026, concerning the investigation into allegations related to the competitive examination for recruiting civil servants or local government employees by the Department of Local Administration. The statement summarized that SWU established a fact-finding committee to delve into the allegations related to the examination project. This committee has concluded its investigation and submitted a report to the university, revealing sufficient preliminary evidence to justify disciplinary action against one individual. Consequently, the university has ordered the formation of a serious disciplinary investigation committee to undertake further disciplinary measures.
