Stricter Controls Imposed on Thai Workers Entering Cambodian Casinos

Sa Kaeo: Starting tomorrow, stricter controls will be put in place for Thais entering casinos in Cambodia. The Burapha Force is set to intensify the level of scrutiny on Thai nationals who will work at casinos across the border.

According to Thai News Agency, the Burapha Task Force issued a circular last evening to various relevant government agencies. The circular emphasized maintaining the highest security for Thais crossing into the Kingdom of Cambodia. It specifically targets employees of casinos and entertainment venues in Poipet, who will be subject to increased scrutiny when leaving the Kingdom at all border crossings in Sa Kaeo Province.

The directive mandates that all relevant agencies comply with these new measures starting at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow and continue until further notice.
