Bangkok: His Majesty the King has appointed Surapong as the new Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
According to Thai News Agency, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) announced today on the Royal Gazette website a Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the appointment of a civil servant within the National Anti-Corruption Commission. A Royal Decree has been issued appointing Mr. Surapong Intarathaworn, a civil servant of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, to be relieved from his position as Deputy Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
Mr. Surapong has been appointed to the position of Secretary-General of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, effective January 18, 2026. The announcement was made on January 19, 2026, and was countersigned by His Majesty the King and Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister.
