Teenagers Involved in Shootout at Soi Ekachai 110, Three Injured

Bangkok: A shootout between groups of teenagers erupted in front of Soi Ekachai 110 in the Bang Bon district, leaving three people injured. Police are actively pursuing the gunman and his accomplices as part of an urgent effort to bring them to justice.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred near the entrance of Soi Ekachai 110 on Ekachai Road. Police discovered two injured individuals at the scene: Mr. Thanawan, 16, who sustained a gunshot wound to the back, and Mr. Suphachok Panphuek, 21, who was shot twice in the back. Witnesses reported that a third injured person, Mr. Kritsada, 35, had already been transported to the hospital by friends.

Additionally, authorities found a red motorcycle with bloodstains at the site, along with a single shotgun shell. Initial investigations revealed that the injured group had been attending a birthday party near Pho Chae, where the gunman was also present. An argument broke out, prompting the gunman to return to his residence in Soi Ekachai 110 and inform his friends, leading to a challenge being issued on Facebook.

As the group from Pho Jae was heading home on motorcycles, they attempted to confront the Ekachai 110 group. However, the latter opened fire, resulting in the injuries. Investigators from Bang Bon Police Station continue to pursue the gunmen and their accomplices to ensure justice is served.
