Thai Airways International is pushing for Thai street food to be served in the sky under the ‘Streets to Sky’ project to support Soft Power and spread Thai food culture to the world.
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, the national carrier, has launched the ‘Streets to Sky’ project, which is bringing Thai street food to be served on Thai Airways’ aircraft. This project aims to promote traditional Thai food to be known internationally and to support Thai food to become an important Soft Power in bringing Thai culture to passengers around the world.
Thai Airways has selected Thai street food from the ‘PintoHub’ platform to be served on economy class flights on all international routes departing from Bangkok to impress travelers from around the world. It also supports quality ingredients from Thai farmers in creating unique and distinctive menus.
This push for Thai street food to be served in the sky also focuses on promoting careers and generating income for Thai farmers. The selected signatur
e menus will be available starting this August.
