Secondly, there is an effort to assert clear ownership of the border by relying on an outdated 1:200,000 scale map from the 1907 Siam-France Treaty, which is insufficient for precise demarcation. Lastly, a favorable ruling by the World Court regarding the ownership of significant temples and areas, such as Ta Muen Thom Temple and the Emerald Triangle, could enhance the leader's popularity.
