Thai Forces Use Tank Artillery to Destroy Cambodian Border Casino

Bangkok: Thailand's First Army Area Operations Center, operating through the Burapa Task Force, has released details and supporting images of a recent military action where tank artillery was used to destroy a casino complex situated on the Cambodian side of the border.

According to Thai News Agency, the operation targeted the structure, located directly opposite the Ban Ta Phraya permanent border crossing in Sa Kaeo province, after it was determined that the facility was being utilized as a military installation.

Thai intelligence indicated the complex was being used as a firing position for indirect-fire weapons, a machine gun nest, and a weapons cache for launching attacks against Thai forces.

The Command confirmed that this military operation was carried out in retaliation under the Rules of Engagement (ROE) to protect national security and ensure the safety of both soldiers and civilians.
