Thai Help Thai Plus Food Delivery Registration to Begin June 10

Bangkok: Registration for the 'Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) Food Delivery' initiative is set to commence on June 10, with order acceptance starting on June 15. Today, Ms. Lalida Periswiwatana, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, is advancing efforts to expand income streams for food and beverage businesses through this project. Approved businesses in the food, snack, and beverage sectors can register to connect with delivery service providers via the "Thung Ngern" application from June 10, 2026, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

According to Thai News Agency, the deputy spokesperson noted that businesses can link their accounts with only one food delivery service platform, which must be a platform they currently use. Once registration is confirmed, the platform cannot be changed, so businesses should carefully choose a suitable platform before proceeding.

For businesses without physical branches, applications can be submitted via the "Register for Food Delivery" banner in the Thung Ngern application. Applicants must agree to the terms and conditions, select their preferred platform, enter the merchant reference code from the delivery provider, review the information, verify their identity with an OTP code, and await system approval.

Businesses with multiple branches have additional steps. The main branch must first choose the platform as all branches must use the same one. If the main branch opts to participate, they must select the "Link Main Branch Food Delivery Account" menu, enter the store reference code from the chosen platform, confirm the information, and verify their identity. Once approved, sub-branches can apply through the same platform but cannot choose a different platform than the main branch.

If the main branch does not wish to participate but allows sub-branches to join, they can select the "Do not link main branch food delivery account" menu to designate a central platform. Sub-branches can apply through the Thung Ngern app, where they will see the platform selected by the main branch and proceed with the registration process as usual. Participation is optional for all branches.

Ms. Lalida stated that merchants who successfully register will begin accepting orders from June 15, 2026, until September 30, 2026, at 9:00 PM. Merchants will be informed of their application status the following day via the Thung Ngern application.

The government is optimistic that the Thai Help Thai Plus (60/40) Food Delivery project will enhance sales channels for food and beverage businesses, increase opportunities to reach customers online, and stimulate the grassroots economy, easing citizens' access to benefits.
