Santiago: Super Tum, a Thai skydiver renowned for his daring feats, has set another milestone by achieving his third Guinness World Record.

According to Thai News Agency, the record was certified for his high-altitude skydiving and landing at the Ojos del Salado volcano in Chile, known as the highest volcano in the world. This unprecedented feat marks the first time a human has skydived from this location.

Super Tum, whose full name is Associate Professor Dr. Tanaboworn Sirikunakornkun, is already recognized for two previous world records: a parachute jump over Mount Everest, where he unfurled a 150 square meter Thai flag, and another jump over Antarctica. These records were certified by the Nepal Media Association and Skydive Antarctica, respectively. The recent achievement was officially announced by Guinness World Records, which also issued a certificate to Super Tum, acknowledging his extraordinary accomplishment.

Expressing his sentiments, Super Tum shared that this achievement filled him with immense pride and joy as a Thai citizen. He emphasized his dedication to his country and the monarchy, crediting his upbringing at P.P.R. Rajavithyalai School for instilling in him a deep sense of patriotism and loyalty. Super Tum expressed his desire to demonstrate to the world that Thai people possess courage, discipline, and professionalism when faced with fear.

Additionally, Super Tum attributed his success to the guidance and support of Mr. Paul Henry de Baere and Mrs. Nadia de Baere, a renowned skydiving couple from France and Russia. He acknowledged their contributions as pivotal to his achievements and as a testament to the potential of the Thai nation.
