Bangkok: The Thai stock market experienced a downturn today, closing at 1,517.95 points, marking a decline of 21.17 points or 1.38%. The total trading volume for the day amounted to 67,869.48 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, the stock index remained in negative territory throughout the trading session, with a significant drop occurring in the afternoon. The index peaked at 1,536.79 points but later reached a low of 1,512.91 points.
In terms of individual stock performance, 201 stocks saw an increase, while 263 stocks decreased, and 192 stocks remained unchanged.
