Bangkok:Dr. Song Nopparat Rattanavaraha, a prominent surgeon in Thailand, and On Somrutai, a well-known fashion influencer, have joined efforts to support flood victims by donating essential supplies and offering encouragement.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Song and On Somrutai have been actively involved in providing aid to those affected by the floods. Dr. Song, who managed to leave her house for the first time since the flooding began, quickly organized donations, recognizing the dire situation faced by many.
Dr. Song described her experience of discovering empty shelves at local convenience stores, highlighting the scarcity of essential items. She contacted Saha Group to secure a large quantity of instant noodles and canned fish from Chonburi, which are vital during food shortages. These supplies, along with drinking water and monetary donations, were delivered to the victims through Nation, a channel she has used in past crises.
In addition to material support, Dr. Song and On Somrutai have shared messages of encouragement on Nation Channel and their personal social media platforms. They expressed hope for a swift resolution to the crisis and sent words of support to those impacted, emphasizing the importance of solidarity among Thai people during challenging times.
