Thailand Building Thailand Highlights Prime Ministerial Candidates’ Strong Profiles and Proven Track Records

Bangkok: "Thailand Building Thailand" has emphasized its three prime ministerial candidates as professional administrators with strong profiles, clean records, and proven track records. Chatchawal, a key proponent, showcased the potential of the candidates, expressing confidence that they are the main choices to help Thai people "relieve fatigue and poverty."

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chatchawan Patayathai, Secretary-General of the Thai Sang Thai Party, highlighted the party's readiness for the upcoming election. He stated that the party has a "leader" of high caliber, with clear strengths superior to those of other party leaders. He specifically mentioned Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, the party leader, citing her as a highly skilled and honest administrator with a proven track record. Her notable achievements include the successful implementation of the "30 Baht Universal Healthcare" project during her four-year tenure as a minister, as well as her adept management of global pandemics like SARS and avian influenza, for which she received recognition from the WHO.

In addressing structural reforms that have hindered economic growth and national development, the party is promoting Dr. Phokin Pholkul, a former Speaker of Parliament and Supreme Administrative Court judge. He has been instrumental in removing 1,000 laws that obstructed SMEs and small business owners within a year. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in advocating for a people's constitution that empowers 50,000 Thai citizens to remove corrupt politicians and officials from office.

For security and political strategy, the party presents Lieutenant General Paradorn Pattanathabutr, also known as "General Maew." As a former Secretary-General of the National Security Council, he is an expert in national security and a skilled negotiator in building peace in the southern border provinces. His integrity and democratic approach to security make him a prominent candidate.

Mr. Chatchawan emphasized that the three candidates from the Thai Sang Thai Party exemplify a rare blend of "experience, success, and integrity." The party's focus extends beyond campaigning, aiming to "build Thailand" with trustworthy professionals untainted by corruption. They are committed to implementing the 3,000 baht public pension policy and reforms to the welfare state structure, with a goal of sustainably improving the quality of life for all Thais.
