Thammanat and Wife Vote Early in Phayao, Urge Citizens to Exercise Their Rights

Phayao: "Thammanat" and his wife cast their votes in Phayao, admitting he's excited every time.

According to Thai News Agency, on February 8, 2026, reporters covered the atmosphere of the parliamentary elections and referendums in Phayao Province. They observed a continuous stream of people exercising their right to vote since the morning, amidst the security provided by election officials at the polling stations. Meanwhile, Captain Thamanat Phromphao and his wife cast their votes at polling station number 15, located at the multipurpose building in Ban Rong Ha, Village 14, Tambon Tom, Mueang District, Phayao Province. They were greeted warmly by local residents.

Captain Thamanat revealed that he feels excited about every election, even though he has been in many before. He woke up at 3:00 AM today, which he considers normal for politicians during election periods, but his excitement remains the same. He also noted that this election happened relatively quickly; normally, there should be more than four years of preparation time, but this time there was only about two years, resulting in many projects and solutions for the people in the area not being completed in a tangible way.

After casting his vote, Captain Thamanat stated that he would return home to visit his father before heading to Bangkok to continue his duties. He also encouraged the people of Phayao to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming election and referendum to help determine the future and protect the interests of the country.
