Thanathorn Advocates for Change in Buriram, Highlights People’s Party Policies

Buriram: Mr. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, a campaign assistant for the People's Party, visited Buriram province to campaign for the party's parliamentary candidates. The atmosphere was warm, with a large turnout of people welcoming him. During his speech, Thanathorn presented key policies of the People's Party, including: reforming land title documents to avoid overlapping with state land and under appropriate conditions to restore the value of agricultural land for the people; promoting nationwide access to potable water within eight years; requiring the highest-ranking provincial administrators to be elected; increasing elderly allowances; the government hiring community volunteers to care for bedridden patients; and investing in comprehensive public transportation systems to reduce costs and improve opportunities for citizens.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thanathorn also mentioned the People's Party's unveiling of its four-person government administration team, focusing on four policy areas. He stated that all members possess the knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to policy work, and that the party will gradually unveil additional members of the administration team, urging the public to continue following the developments.

Mr. Thanathorn also stated that all major political parties have had the opportunity to form a government before, except for the People's Party, which has never had such an opportunity. Therefore, he urged the public to give the People's Party a chance in the February 8, 2026 election, to win overwhelmingly, without splitting their votes with other parties, and to vote for the People's Party on both ballots to send Nattapong Ruangpanyavuth, the party leader, to become the next Prime Minister.
