The Department of Cooperative Promotion organizes volunteer activities for public benefit.

The Department of Cooperative Promotion organized a volunteer activity to perform public service and charity on the occasion of King Naresuan the Great Day, 13 October 2024 and Chulalongkorn Day, 23 October 2024. Mr. Wisit Srisuwan, Director-General of the Cooperative Promotion Department, presided over the opening ceremony of the project to organize volunteer activities for public benefit and charity on the occasion of King Bhumibol Adulyadej Day, the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on October 13, and Chulalongkorn Day, the anniversary of the passing of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, King Rama V on October 23. Mr. Niran Moolthida, Deputy Director-General of the Cooperative Promotion Department, Mr. Prawat Daengbanjong, Deputy Director-General of the Cooperative Promotion Department, executives, and personnel of the department also participated in the ceremony. Mr. Wisit said that as the government invited government agencies to organize volunteer activities to c ommemorate the boundless kindness of the two kings towards the Thai people, the Department of Cooperative Promotion, in gratitude for their kindness, organized volunteer activities to perform public services and charity works with the objective of strengthening unity, sacrifice, and cooperation among the personnel of the Department of Cooperative Promotion, as well as instilling and creating awareness of doing good for society, communities, and the environment. The activity held today was the painting of cloth bags for medicine to be donated to Siriraj Hospital and Ramathibodi Hospital, totaling 200 bags, to be distributed to patients who do not have bags or pouches to use to carry medicine. There were 200 participants in the activity. Organizing this volunteer activity also resulted in the staff having love, unity, and cooperation among the people in the organization.
