Bangkok:The Commissioner General of the Tourist Police has introduced the "One Team One Strongest" initiative aimed at enhancing safety in Thai tourism and fostering international cooperation. This strategy is set to drive operations for the year 2027 by incorporating the principles of King Rama IX and King Rama X, with a focus on building confidence among global tourists.
According to Thai News Agency, the policy briefing took place on October 30, 2026, at the Chaeng Yodsuk Meeting Room, located on the 6th floor of the Tourist Police Headquarters. Police Lieutenant General Pongsayam Meekhantong, Commander of the Tourist Police, presided over the event, which was attended by high-ranking officers and police officials. The briefing was also broadcasted via electronic video conference to police officers across the nation.

The directive, delivered in both Thai and English by Police Lieutenant General Pongsayam, emphasizes a unified administrative approach. It includes the implementation of King Rama IX's 27 principles of work and the royal policies of King Rama X, which focus on national security, public happiness, and operational efficiency. The initiative also aims to enhance international cooperation in combating transnational crime and improving tourist security.
Additionally, the event featured a seminar titled "ARAB WORLD FOR TOURIST POLICE," with Mr. Mohannad Al-Farra from the Embassy of Qatar sharing insights to strengthen international cooperation in tourist security and services.
