Bangkok: Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the bombing and arson of a 7-Eleven store in Mayo, Pattani. Bloodstains and bullet casings were found at the scene.

The Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Forward (ISOC Region 4 Forward) reported progress in the investigation into the incident on August 24th, where perpetrators planted an improvised explosive device and set fire to a 7-Eleven in Ta Bae, Langa Subdistrict, Mayo District. The incident caused a fire and property damage. Police officers, responding to the scene, engaged in a clash with the perpetrators. Bloodstains and spent bullet casings were found at the scene and are being examined as evidence.
Officers from the 42nd Ranger Regiment Task Force implemented their response plan by setting up checkpoints and roadblocks, leading to the apprehension of two suspects, Mr. Afdhol and Mr. Aris (last names withheld). Authorities are verifying information and gathering evidence.
The suspects have been taken to the interrogation center of the 43rd Ranger Regiment Task Force for questioning and further investigation to identify any additional individuals involved.
