Nakhon pathom: Village headman Jiew shot and killed a pig slaughterhouse owner in his brand-new car in front of an entertainment venue (known locally as the "battleground"), critically injuring him. He was rushed to the hospital and later died.

According to Thai News Agency, a shooting occurred at approximately 2:10 AM in front of an entertainment venue on Ying Pao Road in Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province. Following the incident, Pol. Col. Achirawat Thawornroenwattana, Superintendent of Nakhon Pathom Police Station, along with forensic officers, patrol officers, and investigators from Nakhon Pathom Police Station, arrived at the scene. They found one injured male with a gunshot wound to the right side of his head, in critical condition. Emergency personnel performed CPR and transported him to Bangkok Sanamchan Hospital. Initial questioning of witnesses revealed that the two parties had been arguing inside the entertainment venue. Security guards then asked them to resolve the issue outside, as the venue was closing and police were expected to arrive. However, the argument escalated, and the perpetrator allegedly shot the victim, who was sitting inside a luxury car with a red license plate. After the incident, the perpetrator waited to give a statement to the police. Initial investigations have identified the perpetrator as Mr. Khomsak, also known as Kamnan Jiew. The injured person is a 54-year-old man named Udompong, the owner of a pig farm in Mab Kae Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province. He was shot in the head with a firearm.

Investigators conducted an initial investigation at the scene and took the suspect to the Nakhon Pathom City Police Station. A .38 caliber handgun was found on the floor inside the victim's vehicle, along with one bullet hole in the front windshield. A spent 11 mm shell casing was also found approximately two meters in front of the vehicle. Forensic officers collected these items as evidence.

Police suspect the shooting was motivated by jealousy, as the perpetrator's ex-wife had a relationship with the victim. Another possible motive is financial. Police will investigate the perpetrator to determine the true cause and gather evidence for prosecution.
