Xabi Alonso Holds Out for Potential Liverpool Coaching Role

Madrid: Xabi Alonso is not accepting any jobs at the moment, unless Liverpool contacts him. Spanish newspaper Marca reports that young coach Xabi Alonso has decided not to accept any coaching jobs at this time, unless Liverpool contacts him to replace Dutch coach Arne Slot, whose future is uncertain. According to Thai News Agency, Alonso's name has recently resurfaced in the spotlight, with several clubs expressing interest in hiring him as their manager, particularly Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. However, Alonso plans to take a break to rest and focus on his family for a while, unless Liverpool contacts him soon. The same media outlet continued to report that Alonso still has a strong connection to Liverpool and, if the club decides to sack coach Arne Slot, he would be ready to take the job immediately if "The Reds" contacted him.
