According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, along with Mr. Suriya Jungrungruangkit, the party's election director, launched their campaign rally in Sikhiu district, Nakhon Ratchasima. The event aimed to support Mr. Pachara Chantharawongthong, the party's candidate for Member of Parliament in Nakhon Ratchasima Constituency 13. Mr. Panthongtae Shinawatra, son of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, also participated in the event, offering encouragement to the public.
Before delivering his speech, Mr. Yotsanan addressed the recent crane collapse incident, expressing his condolences on behalf of the Pheu Thai Party for the fatalities and injuries. He extended support to medical personnel and the families of the deceased, assuring them that the party would assist in every possible way.
During his address, Mr. Yotsanan urged the residents of Sikhiu District to vote for the Pheu Thai Party. He highlighted the party's commitment to solving the problems of all citizens, emphasizing that the Pheu Thai Party has consistently prioritized the people's needs. He outlined the party's plans for debt relief, poverty alleviation, agricultural profit guarantees, and enhancements in transportation and tourism.
Mr. Yotsanan also addressed misconceptions about the party's financial strategies, clarifying that the Pheu Thai Party has historically generated significant revenue for the country. He stressed that allocating funds to help those in need would restore dignity and enable citizens to live their lives with renewed hope.
Introducing Mr. Pachara to the audience, Mr. Yotsanan highlighted his efforts in combating scammers during Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong's tenure as Minister of Digital Economy and Society. He assured that the Pheu Thai Party would continue to tackle corruption and drug trafficking if elected to power, humorously suggesting that Mr. Pachara looked like a prospective minister.
