Bangkok: Zinedine Zidane, the legendary French midfielder and former Real Madrid manager, has signed a four-year contract to manage the French national team, until June 2030.
According to Thai News Agency, Zidane had been unemployed since leaving Real Madrid for the second time in May 2021. His appointment by the French Football Federation (FFF) marks a new era for the French national team, as he steps in to replace Didier Deschamps. Deschamps decided to step down as head coach of Les Bleus following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.
