King Approves Anutin’s Cabinet Appointments with No Changes to Proposed List

Bangkok: His Majesty the King has officially approved the appointment of Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister and Interior Minister, marking a new chapter in Thailand's political landscape. The announcement was made through the Royal Gazette, confirming the formation of a new cabinet that includes six Deputy Prime Ministers and four Ministers of the Prime Minister's Office, with no alterations to the initially proposed list. According to Thai News Agency, the royal command was issued following the appointment of Mr. Anutin on September 7, 2025. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has assembled a team to continue the administration of the country, exercising the powers vested in him under Section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand. The cabinet appointments include Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Mr. Sophon Saram as Deputy Prime Minister, and Mr. Bowornsak Uwanno as Deputy Prime Minister. Additional key appointments comprise Mr. Ekniti Nitithan praphat as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Colonel Thammanat Prompao as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Suchart Chomklin as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
