Bangkok: The Army Chief of Staff reiterated the army's goal to destroy Cambodia and destroy its military. General Chaiyaphruek Duangpraphat, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army, addressed the situation on the Thai-Cambodian border after two days of clashes.

According to Thai News Agency, General Chaiyaphruek emphasized the necessity of the army's goal to incapacitate Cambodia's military capabilities as a measure for ensuring the safety of the Thai populace. He stated, "The goal is for the Army to make Cambodia lose its military capability for a long time, for the safety of our children."

The statement comes amidst heightened tensions and recent confrontations along the border, which have raised concerns over regional stability.
