The official welcoming event was attended by other prominent Pheu Thai figures, including Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Mr. Wisut Chainaroon, and Ms. Linthiporn Warinwacharoj.

Mr. Chusak highlighted the importance of the upcoming election on February 8, 2026. He expressed his enthusiasm for Mr. Tewan and his team joining Pheu Thai, following the decision of the Chart Pattana Party not to field candidates, allowing members the freedom to align with other political parties. Mr. Tewan and his team have thus chosen to run under the Pheu Thai banner, boosting the party's prospects for the election campaign.

Mr. Prasert emphasized the party's readiness for the general election, scheduled for February 8th. He announced that Pheu Thai would present candidates in all 400 constituencies, with the official candidate launch set for December 25th, 2025. Mr. Tewan's inclusion, along with three other candidates from Nakhon Ratchasima, is seen as a vital strengthening of the party, potentially leading them to electoral success. He expressed confidence in the party's commitment to fielding candidates who have consistently served the Nakhon Ratchasima area.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tewan shared insights into the strategic decision to join Pheu Thai. After the Chart Pattana Party's executive committee resolved not to participate in the upcoming election, Mr. Tewan and his colleagues decided to align with Pheu Thai. Their collaboration with the party leader, Mr. Julaphan Amornwiwat, was instrumental in their decision to join forces. The addition of Mr. Tewan and his team is anticipated to enhance the party's presence in Nakhon Ratchasima, a region with significant political influence.

The partnership with Pheu Thai is expected to benefit the people of Korat significantly. Mr. Tewan highlighted that Nakhon Ratchasima, with its substantial number of MPs, stands as a crucial province with a strong economy. If unified, the Members of Parliament can effectively serve the interests of the people in the region.
