Pipat Unveils Campaign for Southern Thailand’s Future, Championing Number 37

Bangkok: Pipat launched his campaign, promoting number 37 as a candidate for the "Resetting the Future of Southern Thailand" initiative. He highlighted it as a number of hope, aiming to transform opportunities in 14 southern provinces, and outlined a major strategy focusing on three pillars and seven development areas.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, a key figure in the Bhumjaithai Party and the person responsible for election campaigning in the southern region, officially launched his campaign through social media posts. He announced his vision of "Three Pillars of Policy for the South," vowing to reclaim opportunities for the people in the area, arguing that over the past 30 years, opportunities have been lost far too much for the people of the South.

Mr. Pipat stated that in the 2026 election, he is volunteering to return and take responsibility for the South once again, to reclaim lost opportunities for the people of the South. He will move forward with regional development through three key pillars: 1. Laying a solid foundation for development, 2. Building national pride, and 3. Strengthening the security of Southern Thailand. This will be coupled with driving development in seven key areas, encompassing all dimensions: infrastructure, tourism and trade, agriculture and fisheries, industry, education and AI, society, and security, to systematically improve the quality of life for the people. The main goal is to ensure equitable, stable, and sustainable growth in all 14 southern provinces, creating jobs, generating income, and providing opportunities for Southern Thai people to work in their hometown.

Mr. Pipat emphasized that number 37 is not just a number on the ballot, but represents "hope" and "opportunity" that will determine the future of every family in the South. He pointed out that this election is a crucial turning point for the South and asked the people to give the Bhumjaithai Party, both the candidate and the party, a chance. Vote for number 37 for the future of all the children in the South.
