Hua hin: Police are hunting for a suspect who fatally attacked a hotel employee with an iron pipe in Hua Hin. An arrest warrant has been issued, and the suspect has a long criminal record including assault and rape. In the case of Mr. Rattikorn, 36, a brutal assailant who broke into a hotel in Hua Hin at approximately 3:00 AM on January 19th and repeatedly struck a female employee with an iron pipe, the hotel's CCTV footage clearly shows the suspect surveying the area for a while before seizing an opportunity to climb over the counter and strike the sleeping employee on the head and back of the head with the iron pipe until she lost consciousness. He then ransacked her, stole two mobile phones and a black bag, and fled.
According to Thai News Agency, following the incident, police from Hua Hin Police Station, along with rescue workers from the Sawang Hua Hin Dhammasathan Foundation, arrived at the scene to investigate and provide first aid to the injured before transporting them to Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin.
