Bangkok: "Pipat" affirms that Bhumjaithai Party will push forward with the land bridge, SEC, and Chana industrial estate projects. "Pipat" calls for the return of opportunities and justice lost to people in southern Thailand for 30 years, affirming that the Bhumjaithai Party will push forward the Land Bridge, SEC, and Chana Industrial Estate projects to empower people in southern Thailand to choose their own future.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Commander of the Southern Region and a member of the Bhumjaithai Party, expressed his commitment to restoring opportunities and justice for the people of the South that have been overlooked for over three decades. He highlighted the disparity in government support for transportation and public infrastructure between the South and other regions. Mr. Pipat believes that equitable support could significantly boost the South's contribution to national revenue.
Mr. Pipat elaborated on the rationale behind endorsing the Bhumjaithai Party across all 14 provinces. He stated the party's intention to advance major projects like the Chumphon-Ranong land bridge, the Southern Economic Corridor (SEC), and the utilization of 600,000 rai of public land for job creation in livestock and energy crops. These initiatives, along with the development of industrial estates and ports, aim to enhance transportation links and attract investment-a vision that has been researched but not yet realized.
Mr. Pipat emphasized the significance of the upcoming election, urging voters to consider the future of Southern Thailand. He assured that a victory for the Bhumjaithai Party would revitalize the region with improved infrastructure, employment opportunities, and economic growth. As a representative of the South, he pledged to implement policies that would benefit Southern Thailand and its people.
