Yotchanan Calls for Transformation of Udon Thani into Economic Hub

Udon thani: Yotchanan delivered a major speech at Thung Sri Muang field, drawing a large crowd in Udon Thani. He outlined plans to turn the city into a central hub for trade, herbal medicine, sports, and tourism in the Northeast. He emphasized that this vision could only be realized if Udon Thani secured all 10 constituencies currently held by the Pheu Thai Party.

According to Thai News Agency, the rally was led by Mr. Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime minister candidate, along with Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai and Mr. Nattawut Saikua. The event aimed to support the Pheu Thai Party's candidates across all 10 constituencies in Udon Thani. The candidates include Mr. Koment Teethananon, Ms. Hathairat Petchpanomporn, Mr. Samak Boonpok, Mr. Traiphop Khampet, Mr. Koravee Sarakham, Mr. Prachachat Saenkaew, Mr. Teerachai Saenkaew, Mr. Kriangsak Faisingam, Mr. Watcharapol Khaokham, and Ms. Tiepjutha Khaokham.

The lively atmosphere at the rally saw the crowd showing support with garlands and local delicacies. During the event, attendees turned on their phone flashlights to create a memorable backdrop for a group photo. Mr. Yotchanan expressed his desire for Udon Thani to win all 10 districts, stating it was essential for turning hopes into reality and transforming Udon Thani forever.

Mr. Yotsanan elaborated on the Pheu Thai Party's philosophy to reduce expenses, increase income, and expand opportunities. He emphasized the importance of addressing grassroots issues and resolving debts, promising government subsidies to those earning less than 3,000 baht monthly. He also addressed plans to tackle flooding and drought, while promoting Udon Thani as a high-income province.

In terms of economic policies, Mr. Yotsanan proposed a new stimulus package with a 70% government subsidy. He highlighted the potential for Udon Thani to become the capital of herbal medicine and a central hub for tourism. He concluded by stressing the need for Udon Thani to be a Pheu Thai Party stronghold to achieve these goals.
