Ayrin Announces Job Opportunities for Thai Massage Therapists in Malaysia

Bangkok: "Ayrin" has announced a new opportunity for Thai women to work as massage therapists in Malaysia.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Phanrit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the government is focusing on creating overseas job opportunities to boost income and improve life quality for Thai workers. The Department of Employment, under the Ministry of Labour, is facilitating this initiative by recruiting 18 female massage therapists to work at VYV Wellness Retreat Sdm Bhd in Malaysia. Applications are open online at toea.doe.go.th until February 19, 2026.

The employment offers a two-year contract with two wage options. Employees can choose a fixed monthly salary of 3,300 Malaysian Ringgit, roughly 25,022 Thai Baht, or opt for a commission-based model. The latter pays 22 Ringgit per hour for the first 160 hours and 25 Ringgit per hour thereafter. Therapists are expected to work 7.5 hours a day, six days a week. The employer also provides free accommodation, covers round-trip airfare upon contract completion, and offers insurance as required by Malaysian regulations.

Applicants need to be female, aged between 21-44, and possess a certification for at least 150 hours of Thai or foot massage training. Good health and manners are also required. Essential expenses for selected candidates, including photo, passport, health check fees, and membership for job seeker assistance funds, will total around 6,500 baht.

Ms. Airin emphasized that interested candidates can apply, download forms, and find further details on the Department of Employment's website and social media platforms. Additional inquiries can be directed to various employment offices or through the Ministry of Labour hotline.
