MCOT Radio Commemorates 72 Years with Merit-Making Ceremony

Bangkok: MCOT Radio held a merit-making ceremony to celebrate its 72nd anniversary. Mr. Suwit Sapmahaudom, Assistant Director-General of the Radio Division, joined executives and staff from FM 95 Luk Thung Mahanakorn, FM 96.5 Khluen Khwam Kid, FM 99 Active Radio, FM 100.5 News Network, Smooth 105.5, Met 107, and 41 regional radio stations in offering food to monks.

According to Thai News Agency, this ceremony marks more than seven decades since the Thai Television Company began broadcasting on January 31, 1954, through the Thai Broadcasting Corporation (T.T.T.), which is now known as MCOT Radio Network. The network currently operates 47 stations nationwide, continuing its legacy in the broadcasting industry.
