Ja Nongphanee Performs at Concert Despite Father’s Critical Condition

Bangkok: Heartbreaking news emerged as Ja Nongphanee, renowned Luk Thung singer, performed at a concert despite her father being seriously injured in a car accident. She revealed tearfully that doctors have given her father only a 10% chance of survival.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pradit Mahathai, aged 68 and the father of Ja Nongphanee, also known as Ja R-Siam, was severely injured in a motorcycle accident with a pickup truck in front of Bangkok Boulevard Chaengwattana 2, located on Hor Karn Kha Road, in the Bang Tanai Subdistrict of Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. The incident occurred yesterday evening, prompting Ja to rush to the scene and stay by her father's side. Video footage captured Ja sitting beside her father on the road, tenderly wiping his blood with tissue paper as they awaited an ambulance.

After ensuring her father received medical attention, Ja shared her sentiments on Facebook, expressing her hope and determination with a heartfelt message. The post garnered support from fellow artists, celebrities, and fans who offered their encouragement to Ja and her family during this challenging time.

Despite the distressing circumstances, Ja fulfilled her commitment to a concert in Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province, a performance she had agreed to long before the accident. Though anxious about her father's condition, she delivered a moving performance, supported by her boyfriend, Big Achiraphol. During the concert, Ja shared her father's critical condition with the audience, her voice quavering and tears flowing. She expressed her belief that her father would have wanted her to honor her commitment to her fans, acknowledging their vital role in her family's journey. The audience responded with chants of encouragement, urging her to keep fighting.
