Bhumjaithai Party Confident of Sweep in Phatthalung with Infrastructure Initiatives

Phatthalung: "Pipat" and "Chalat" Ratchakitprakarn recently held a rally in Phatthalung, expressing their confidence that the Bhumjaithai Party will secure victories in all three constituencies. They highlighted significant infrastructure projects, including a bridge and airport, as pivotal in revitalizing opportunities for the people of Southern Thailand after three decades.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, a prominent figure for the Bhumjaithai Party in the southern region, and his son, Mr. Chalath Ratchakitprakarn, a party-list MP candidate, addressed the crowd in Phatthalung province. They emphasized their deep ties to the region and their belief in winning all three parliamentary seats with realistic policies that cater to the needs of Phatthalung's residents.

Mr. Chalath shared his meeting with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the party's leader, and his pride in returning to Phatthalung, where the Bhumjaithai Party began its journey. He underscored the party's evolution over 17 years from a minor entity to one poised to lead the government.

Mr. Chalath criticized past political actions that stalled the "Half-Price Plus" Phase 2 economic project. He stressed that the Bhumjaithai Party prioritizes the people's welfare over political games and affirmed the project's revival if the party assumes government leadership.

In response to policy criticisms, it was stressed that the Bhumjaithai Party possesses a team of professional administrators addressing economics, social issues, and national security. The party's few policies are achievable, promising tangible results and fulfilled commitments.

Mr. Pipat announced the continuation of the Songkhla-Phatthalung bridge project, clarifying that it was delayed, not canceled, due to parliamentary dissolution. He mentioned World Bank funding for an Irrawaddy dolphin nursery in Songkhla Lake, which will accompany the bridge as a tourist draw. The project awaits submission to the Cabinet after a new government is formed.

He also highlighted the Phatthalung airport project as a local dream, urging support for Bhumjaithai's candidates: Air Force Colonel Dr. Athikun Kongmee (Constituency 1), Mr. Worat Teodveerapong (Constituency 2), and Mr. Khemphol Uityakul (Constituency 3), to expedite the project's Cabinet approval.

The public response was enthusiastic, affirming confidence in the "Saying and Doing Plus" policy and the "Reclaiming the Lost 30 Years for the People of Southern Thailand" initiative, aimed at sustainable regional development.

Mr. Pipat concluded by urging public participation in the February 8th elections to support the Bhumjaithai Party, aiming to transform Phatthalung into a prosperous province and secure a bright future for Southern Thailand's generations.
