Names of Four Political Parties at High Risk of Becoming Opposition Revealed

Bangkok: The names of four political parties at high risk of becoming the opposition have been revealed, as the current government has secured approximately 300 seats. This development includes all smaller parties except Ruam Thai Sang Chart, and the unfolding situation is being closely monitored.

According to Thai News Agency, recent analyses indicate the potential formation of a four-party opposition coalition. The People's Party has clearly stated it will not join an Anutin 2 government. The Kla Tham Party, facing a high risk of becoming an opposition party, has yet to receive any overtures regarding joining the government from either Bhumjaithai Party leader or its own leader. This aligns with a statement from Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul about parties acting defiantly, suggesting a revelation of their true intentions. Observers are keenly watching the final developments before the Election Commission announces the parliamentary election results.

The Democrat Party is also among those that have not been contacted about joining the government. Additionally, the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, a small party with only two seats, is expected to be absent from the Anutin 2 government. Instead, the government is likely to include the Thai Ruam Palang Party, which has six seats.

This coalition is anticipated to provide the government with approximately 300 seats, sufficient for maintaining stability and potentially eliminating the need to secure additional votes.
