Prime Minister Orders Diesel Price Freeze for 15 Days

Bangkok: The Prime Minister has mandated that the price of diesel be frozen at 29.94 baht per liter for a duration of 15 days, effective immediately. This directive was issued to the Ministry of Energy and is designed to stabilize diesel prices in the immediate term. According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul communicated this decision via a Facebook post. In his message, he stated, "As head of government, I have instructed the Ministry of Energy and related agencies to freeze the price of diesel at 29.94 baht per liter for 15 days, starting from today." The Prime Minister also indicated that the government would evaluate further measures to support the public following the 15-day period. All PTT gas stations have been instructed to comply with this price freeze, ensuring that diesel is sold at the specified rate of 29.94 baht per liter.
