Ms. Phatthrawan Phattharabowornwut, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission, revealed that a physical education teacher at a school in Buriram province has been accused of sexually abusing students on multiple occasions. She has instructed the regional education office to take decisive disciplinary action. The office has already suspended the teacher from duty and sent a school psychologist to provide psychological support and rehabilitation to the students and their parents. The situation will be closely monitored.
