Bangkok: Red Shirt protesters are camped out in front of Klong Prem prison, waiting to welcome Thaksin tomorrow. Red Shirt protesters are gradually gathering in front of Klong Prem Prison, awaiting the release of Thaksin Shinawatra.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere in front of Klong Prem Central Prison today was particularly lively following news of the impending release of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Red Shirt supporters began laying mats on the sidewalk in front of the prison entrance, along with basic necessities such as handheld fans, umbrellas, and food supplies. Most were wearing red shirts, a symbol of their political stance, and holding signs with welcoming messages such as "Welcome home, Mr. Prime Minister." Activities in the area included playing music to create a cheerful atmosphere, group discussions on the future direction of politics, and sharing expressions of gratitude for the prospect of the former Prime Minister returning to his family.

In terms of security, over 500 police officers from Prachachuen Police Station, Thungsonghong Police Station, Klong Prem Central Prison, and plainclothes officers have been deployed to closely monitor and maintain order.
