Bus Accident Claims Motorcyclist’s Life on Rama 2 Road

Bangkok: A bus tragically ran over and killed a motorcyclist on Rama 2 Road. Today, on Rama 2 Road, a motorcycle collided with a bus. The motorcycle fell, and the rider was run over by the rear wheel of the bus, which was driving alongside, resulting in fatal head injuries.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment. The incident occurred in the parallel lane of Rama 2 Road, heading towards Mahachai, about 1 kilometer past the Bang Kradee Road intersection. Road construction was underway in this area. Initially, the motorcycle appeared to be far enough away from the bus, but it then swerved into it, causing it to lose balance and fall. Tragically, the bus's rear wheel ran over the motorcyclist's head. Police later identified the victim as Mr. Krisanu, 35, an employee of a factory.

Regarding the questioning of Mr. Jue, 45, the bus driver of route 140, which runs between Mahachai and Victory Monument, the bus driver confirmed that the deceased fell off his motorcycle and his body went under the bus, resulting in the tragic accident. During the inspection of the bus, police found blood stains on the wheel arch. Investigators from Sam Daeng Police Station have contacted the deceased's relatives to collect the body, and the bus driver has been taken to the police station to face charges.
