Bangkok: "Big Krieng" (General Apirat Kongsompong) has reiterated the Senate's position to accept all decisions made by the Election Commission concerning the Senate collusion case, despite opposition parties' concerns about potential overreach in their duties.
According to Thai News Agency, General Kriengkrai Srirak, Deputy Speaker of the Senate, addressed the ongoing Senate collusion case, emphasizing the Senate's commitment to abide by the rules and outcomes set by the Election Commission (EC). He confirmed that once the EC's investigation concludes and a verdict is rendered, the Senate will fully accept the decision, irrespective of when it is announced.
In response to the opposition's observations on the case, General Kriengkrai acknowledged their concerns but emphasized that all parties should adhere to their defined roles and responsibilities without infringing on others' rights. He urged that all actions be conducted in accordance with legal frameworks to ensure fairness and transparency in the process.
