Aichi-Nagoya:"Nong Hong" Suraswadi Yodsarn delivered a commendable performance to earn a silver medal in the women's 57 kg weightlifting event at the 2026 Asian Games.
According to Thai News Agency, the competition took place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, where Suraswadi Yodsarn lifted a total of 219 kilograms. Her performance included a maximum snatch of 97 kg and a clean and jerk of 122 kg.
The gold medal was claimed by a North Korean athlete with a total lift of 238 kg, while the bronze went to a competitor from Chinese Taipei, who achieved a total of 217 kg.
