Bangkok:An Israeli man and a Thai woman have been arrested in a luxury hotel room in the Huai Khwang area of Bangkok for allegedly giving a drug-laced cake to women before secretly filming them engaging in sexual activity.
According to Thai News Agency, the arrests were made under the direction of several high-ranking officials, including Pol. Gen. Samran Nuanma, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, and other senior police officers from the Metropolitan Police and the Immigration Bureau. The Israeli national, identified as 54-year-old Tomer Kahiri, also known as "Tom Yum Kung," was charged with jointly possessing methamphetamine and overstaying his visa by 2,095 days. Kahiri refused a drug test and failed to comply with officers' orders during the arrest. The Thai woman, 44-year-old Patchanok Iamasaad, was charged with possession and illegal consumption of methamphetamine.
The arrest followed a tip received via the Metropolitan Police Bureau's 1386 hotline. The tip detailed an Israeli man with an eagle tattoo on his left upper arm who used a dating app to lure women to his condominium, where he allegedly baked a cake suspected of containing narcotics. The cake reportedly caused dizziness and increased arousal, leading to sexual intercourse that was secretly filmed.
During the arrest, authorities seized 15 grams of methamphetamine, 50 bags containing the drug, a weighing scale, a cake suspected of being drug-laced, and a mobile phone. They also discovered information related to drug trafficking and numerous secretly filmed videos of sexual activity.
