BCPG signs TISCO loan to expand clean energy business

BCPG signed a 15-year 4.2 billion baht loan agreement with TISCO Bank to expand its clean energy business in line with the Decarbonization plan. Mr. Niwat Adirek, Chief Executive Officer and President of BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG), revealed that the company has received financial support from TISCO Bank with a credit line of 4,200 million baht for a period of 15 years for a solar power plant project to strengthen its financial strength and expand its growth potential in the clean energy business. Mr. Pitada Wacharasiritham, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking, TISCO Bank, said that TISCO Bank is very pleased to provide a loan for investment in a clean energy power plant project for BCPG, which is one of the leaders in clean energy and has continuously emphasized sustainable development covering the environment, society, and governance (ESG). This is in line with TISCO Bank's role in emphasizing the Sustainable Focus strategy to drive the organization towards sustainable growth, which is in line with TISCO Bank's goal of expanding the proportion of green loans to more than 20 percent of its total large loan portfolio by 2025.
