Chinese Tourist Rescued After Drowning Incident in Pattaya Hotel Pool

Pattaya: A Chinese female tourist was rescued after drowning in a hotel pool in the heart of Pattaya. Hotel staff performed CPR, successfully reviving her vital signs before she was rushed to the hospital for further medical care.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at approximately 02:30 AM when the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a drowning in the Jomtien Soi 2 area, Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province. Upon arrival at the scene, rescue workers found the 30-year-old tourist without a pulse. They immediately performed CPR, which eventually restored her heartbeat, and transported her to the hospital.

A friend of the injured woman recounted that the group was enjoying the pool when the incident occurred. The woman suddenly disappeared underwater, prompting her friends to alert hotel staff for immediate assistance.
